World Cup Heroics Boost Sevilla’s Asking Price for Moroccan Goalkeeper Bounou

The performances of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou in Qatar are arousing the interest of several European clubs, pushing Sevilla FC to increase its price on the transfer market.
Before the World Cup, the amount for which Sevilla FC could sell Yassine Bounou was around 20 and 30 million. But with only one goal conceded in four games, the goalkeeper has gained value. And regardless of the outcome of the Morocco-Portugal match, Yassine Bounou has gained value, especially after allowing the elimination of Spain in the round of 16 of the World Cup.
Coveted by many clubs, especially those in the Premier League, Sevilla FC sees bigger and could demand up to 50 million from any club wishing to recruit the Moroccan player, according to Fichajes.net.
Sevilla FC itself wants to recruit certain players and therefore needs to have a substantial budget. By rising to the ranks of the world’s greatest goalkeepers, Bounou is becoming the ideal solution that would allow the club to replenish its coffers.
