Witchcraft Allegations Stir Political Controversy in Tangier

An unusual incident is shaking the city of Tangier. Personal photos and talismans, possibly related to witchcraft practices, were found in a wasteland in the Gueznaia region. The discovery, made by passers-by, quickly inflamed the conversations of the inhabitants, fueling curiosity and questions.
Among the objects placed in a clay jar, photos of political personalities of the city have been identified. These include the president of the largest district of the city, that of Beni Makada, as well as some of his deputies and members of the council. This discovery immediately raised suspicions about the existence of political rivalries within the municipality.
The case, widely relayed on social networks and instant messaging applications, has elicited many reactions, with some Internet users ironizing on these "new means of political competition". But beyond the anecdotal aspect, questions remain: who is behind this act? What are the real motivations? Is it a matter of harming the elected officials, disrupting their work or simply sowing trouble within the council?
