Wild Boar Invasion Sparks Panic in Essaouira, Morocco; Residents Demand Government Action

Wild boar attacks have again been reported in the Essaouira region, causing panic among the population. Local associations are calling on the state to take responsibility.
Associations have demanded the intervention of the Ministry of the Interior to urgently respond to the massive arrival of wild boars in the city of Essaouira, reports the website Rue20, which specifies that the inhabitants express their discontent, even their anger, in the face of the occupation of their streets and alleys by these animals, which disrupts their peace and turns their city into a place where wild boars circulate freely.
For local stakeholders, this situation has created a climate of fear among the population, worried for their safety, that of their children, and for their property, in the presence of these wild animals.
In addition to demanding the immediate cessation of these invasions, the organizations have also asked the Ministry of the Interior to communicate on the actions and measures it intends to take to put an end to this phenomenon, which is also affecting other Moroccan cities.
