’The Wheel of Time’ Season 2 Trailer Debuts, Premieres September 1 on Prime Video

Prime Video has released the official trailer for the second season of the series "The Wheel of Time" or "La Roue du temps" in French.
After nearly two years of waiting, the second season of the series "The Wheel of Time" will begin on September 1, 2023, exclusively on Prime Video. In the meantime, its trailer was unveiled on Wednesday, July 19. We find the main characters Moiraine Damodred, Lan Mandragoran, Rand al’Thor and Nynaeve al’Meara. Co-produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television Studios, season 2 is divided into eight episodes. It follows the journeys "of a humble farm boy, Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski), who learns that he is The Reborn Dragon - a dangerous figure in history destined to save the world... or destroy it."
"Eager to protect him from the Dark One, an army of powerful sorceresses must face his growing power and nascent madness. The Wheel of Time turns and the Last Battle approaches. While Rand thought he had destroyed the Dark One, evil has not disappeared from the world. New and very ancient threats are looking for the young friends from the Two Rivers, now scattered throughout the world. The woman who found and guided them is now powerless to help them, and they must therefore find other sources of strength. In the light... or in the darkness," the synopsis summarizes. Filming took place in the Czech Republic, Morocco and Italy.
The first season of "The Wheel of Time" had been broadcast in November 2021. This series is an adaptation of the bestseller by American writer Robert Jordan, one of the most popular and enduring fantasy masterpieces of all time, with over 90 million copies sold.
