West Ham Stars Benrahma and Aguerd Forge Strong Bond Despite National Rivalries
Saïd Benrahma, the Algerian winger of West Ham, has expressed an unwavering complicity and sincere friendship with his Moroccan teammate, Nayef Aguerd.
"Nayef Aguerd is my brother at West Ham United, and I absolutely do not disagree with him. Our relationship is very strong, and we never let disagreements come between us," he said.
During the same interview, Benrahma shared his predictions about the chances of the Algerian national team at the next Africa Cup of Nations. Despite the difficulties his team may face during the tournament, particularly against teams of the caliber of Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal, he remains optimistic.
For the player, going to the Africa Cup of Nations for his country is about aiming for the title. "Participating in the Africa Cup of Nations is difficult, but we participate with the aim of winning the title. That’s our goal, even if we might face very big teams like Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal," he said.
