Wealthy Businessman’s Nephew Released on Bail After Ramming Wedding Procession in Morocco

The "ould lefchouch" (spoiled child) who had rammed the wedding procession in early February in Essaouira will not serve his two-year prison sentence. He was released on bail.
10,000 DH. This is the bail paid by the nephew of a wealthy businessman and owner of a famous clinic who was sentenced to two years in prison in the first instance for violently ramming the car transporting the wedding procession in Essaouira in February, reports the daily Akhbar. In Mogador, this release on bail has surprised more than one, particularly because of the charges against him: possession and sale of drugs, insulting a public official, speeding under the influence of drugs.
After five months on the run, the young man had been arrested in early July by the elements of the National Security of Marrakech in coordination with the Royal Gendarmerie. His appearance in several videos in which he mocked the authorities who had not been able to arrest him until then facilitated the task of the elements of the Brigade for the Fight against Criminal Gangs of the Judicial Police of Marrakech and the Royal Gendarmerie.
