Watford’s Adam Masina Suffers Thigh Injury, Doubtful for Africa Cup of Nations

Victim of a serious injury on Wednesday, during a championship match with his club Watford, the Moroccan left-back, Adam Masina, risks missing the CAN, scheduled for January 2022.
Masina had a serious injury to the thigh during the Watford-Chelsea match as part of the 14th round of the Premier League.
This situation was confirmed by his coach Claudio Ranieri, who specified during the post-match press conference that the injury occurred in the same place where he had been operated on. This injury could keep him off the field for a long time, he added.
In a press release, the club management indicated that the player will undergo an MRI to determine the nature and duration of his unavailability.
