FIFA Approves Adam Masina’s Switch to Morocco National Team

After Munir El Haddadi, it is the turn of Moroccan player Adam Masina to join the circle of the Atlas Lions. The request of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation regarding the change of sports nationality of the player has been accepted by FIFA.
Adam Masina, the Watford (England) player, has been given the green light by FIFA to be part of the Moroccan national football team. Summoned by Vahid Halilhodzic for the two upcoming matches of the Atlas Lions against Mauritania, on March 26 in Nouakchott, and against Burundi, on March 30 in Rabat, as part of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, the player will make his first appearance with Morocco.
The national coach expects a lot from the player, as he traveled to London to see him play. "He will bring us a lot of serenity and quality," Halilhodzic said at the press conference held last Thursday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Before Morocco, Adam Masina represented Italy six times in the U21 category from 2015 to 2017. Houcine Kharja, head of the scouting cell of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in Europe, is one of those who convinced him to join the Atlas Lions.
