Moroccan Defender Adam Masina Returns from Injury in Udinese’s Loss to Inter Milan

After five months of absence, Moroccan international Adam Masina is back on the pitch. He played his first match against Inter Milan on Saturday at the San Siro stadium.
Even though the match ended in a defeat for Udinese Calcio, Adam Masina is delighted to be operational again after a long period of absence. "I’m really happy, I was looking forward to it. I regret the defeat but it’s due to the lack of finishing and missed shots. We are all aware of this and I think for the next matches we will do better. We just need to be more efficient," he said to Udinese TV.
Starting the match on the bench, Adam Masina was called upon to lend a hand to the team after the injury of his teammate Enzo Ebosse in the 13th minute. The Moroccan left-back wishes a speedy recovery to the Cameroonian international. "I’m really sorry for Enzo. I really hope it’s nothing serious. I’ve been waiting for my moment, I’ve worked hard and I know I can bring experience and energy to the pitch. I’m very happy. It’s a shame we didn’t bring back the win."
The Moroccan player was the victim of a serious injury that deprived him of participating in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
