Moroccan Striker Tarik Tissoudali Cleared for Return After 8-Month Injury Layoff

After several months of absence due to injury, Moroccan international Tarik Tissoudali has received medical clearance to resume competition.
This is good news for the player, but also for Morocco and Gent. While he was looking forward to participating with Morocco in the World Cup in Qatar, the player was forced to give it up following a serious injury that required surgery.
He will spend the last eight months recovering. According to the Dutch-speaking Belgian media Het Laatste Nieuws, the medical staff of Gent have given the green light for the 29-year-old Moroccan striker to return to the field. After this long absence, he could even be part of the group that will face the Seraing team in the Belgian championship on Saturday, April 1, even if it is only for a few minutes.
Great revelation of Moroccan football during the Africa Cup of Nations held in Cameroon, Tarik Tissoudali remained, until his injury, one of the best elements of Gent, who had even refused many transfer proposals concerning him.
