Wanted Fraudster Posing as Royal Guard Lieutenant Arrested in Morocco

An individual, the subject of a double national arrest warrant, was arrested by the elements of the Tangier Police Prefecture at the beginning of the week. He presented himself at the police station under a false identity, in order to file a complaint for the loss of a license plate.
The individual, who posed as a lieutenant in the royal musical orchestra, was quickly identified by the police services, following the identification operation. In reality, he was wanted for fraud, fraud and drug trafficking, according to Alyaoum24.
The services of the Prefecture proceeded to his arrest, while a search of the car allowed the seizure of large sums of money, as well as cards and administrative documents.
The fake lieutenant was placed in custody, at the disposal of the investigation supervised by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending his appearance before the courts.
