Viral Video Prompts Morocco’s Health Ministry to Cover 8-Year-Old’s Medical Costs

Relayed via a widely shared video on social networks, the story of a little girl has finally landed on the desk of the Minister of Health. The Department of Anas Doukkali announced that it wants to cover the hospitalization costs of the little girl. Her father, destitute, does not benefit from any social coverage.
Taken care of by a pediatrician, the little girl was able to receive the first aid, indicates the Ministry, according to which, she was able to carry out the laboratory analyzes, the radiology and ultrasound examinations. This press release also specifies that she also benefited from topical treatments on the foot, as well as intravenous antibiotics.
Once her analyzes were finalized, the 8-year-old girl was transferred to the Ibn Sina University Hospital Center (CHU) in Rabat, for an MRI examination, in order to diagnose the disease and define the appropriate medical and surgical care.
