This Moroccan city is the most sought-after destination by the French this winter
Much more than Marrakech, another Moroccan city is emerging as the most sought-after destination by the French for this winter.
Searches for "sunny destination" on Google have increased by 257% in one month, according to the figures of a study which specifies that Casablanca is establishing itself as the most sought-after destination of the moment, with more than 523,000 Google searches during the period. Located 3h10 from Paris, the economic capital of Morocco attracts French tourists due to its mild climate (21°C on average in November) and its sunshine (10 hours per day).
Casablanca offers a perfect balance between modernity and tradition. With a sublime view of the ocean, Art Deco architecture and a very lively Moroccan culture, the city offers a different experience from Marrakech. In addition to its palm trees and large avenues, the city of Casablanca is full of tourist sites, including the Hassan II Mosque, the Habous district, nicknamed the "new medina", or La Corniche d’Aïn Diab, ideal for a stroll at sunset.
