In this Moroccan city, a French retiree can rent an apartment cheaper than in France, consume fresh produce at affordable prices and enjoy regular leisure activities. Taxi transportation services are accessible, allowing retirees to travel in a comfort they cannot afford in France.

The city also has modern private clinics and French-speaking doctors for the most part. Routine care is much cheaper than in France, and insurance is accepted for major care, which reassures French seniors who can quickly return to Rabat or travel to France in case of complications.
