US Unveils New Map Recognizing Morocco’s Sovereignty Over Western Sahara

During a ceremony organized at the US embassy on Saturday, December 12 in Rabat, the United States unveiled a "new official map" of Morocco integrating the territory of the Sahara.
"This is the tangible representation of the powerful proclamation made just two days ago by President Trump - recognizing Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara," said Ambassador David Fischer, before signing the "new map of the US government for the Kingdom of Morocco".
This map "will be presented to King Mohammed VI" who "in his wisdom and foresight has recognized Israel," he added.
On Thursday, US President Donald Trump signed a decree recognizing the Moroccanness of the Sahara in exchange for the normalization of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel.
