Like on December 1st, incidents occurred on Tuesday in several Dutch cities after Morocco’s qualification for the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
While the celebration of the victory was taking place in a good atmosphere, some of them began to throw fireworks towards the heavily present police forces.
The police intervened to disperse the crowd by evacuating the Mercatorplein in Amsterdam and the Kruisplein in Rotterdam. The same incidents were recorded in The Hague, prompting the riot police to intervene to put an end to the disturbances.
