UNAF U20: Morocco crushes Algeria (4-1) in their first match
The Moroccan under-20 women’s team has succeeded in its entry into the North African Football Union (UNAF) tournament. The Moroccan players largely defeated Algeria with a score of 4 goals to 1, in the match played this Wednesday at the Hammam Sousse stadium in Tunisia.
The Lionesses of the Atlas made the difference very quickly. Morocco opened the scoring as early as the 16th minute, before increasing the score two minutes later and then in the 30th minute. At the beginning of the second half, the Lionesses put an end to Algerian hopes with a fourth goal.
This success allows Morocco to get off to a good start in the competition in group B. For their second match, the Moroccans will face Jordan next Sunday. In the other part of the table, group A, Egypt beat Tunisia 1-0 a little later in the evening.
