The pavilion’s lineup was announced on October 3 by the Emirati news agency WAM. EDGE, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group and Resource Industries will be among the participants. Their program covers defense systems, aviation, autonomous platforms and advanced technologies.

The participation is supported by the Emirati Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement. ADNEC Group is organizing the pavilion, which is intended to allow companies to meet directly with government representatives, military officials and prospective industrial partners.

The UAE is seeking new outlets for its products. The event in Morocco is part of its program of participation in international trade shows, with a stated commercial ambition: to access new markets and develop cooperation in defense and aerospace.

In Marrakech, Emirati companies will join other industry players pursuing the same goal. Israel Aerospace Industries has notably announced plans to forge local partnerships and promote technology transfers at the show.

EDGE had already showcased its drones in 2024

For EDGE, the return follows its first participation in the Marrakech Airshow in 2024. At the time, the manufacturer presented a range comprising guided weapons, autonomous drones, munitions and air defense systems, according to its statement.

Its announced lineup for this edition included the SKYKNIGHT air defense system and several families of precision munitions. Uncrewed platforms also featured prominently, including the GARMOOSHA rotary-wing drone and aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing.

EDGE’s first visit was intended to lay the groundwork for a lasting relationship with Morocco, the group’s managing director, Hamad Al Marar, explained at the time. Two years later, the group is returning as part of a pavilion bringing together several Emirati companies, with an offering that extends beyond military equipment alone to include aerospace technologies.

The show will be held at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base in Marrakech. Over four days, companies in the Emirati pavilion will be able to present their capabilities and meet foreign delegations.

They will also use these meetings to promote upcoming events in the UAE: the IDEX and NAVDEX land and naval defense exhibitions, as well as the IDC International Defence Conference, scheduled for 2027.
