Turkey Tourism Prices Soar: Vacationers Face High Costs Amid COVID Recovery

Summer vacations will be very expensive for Moroccan tourists and other nationalities who will come to Turkey in these times of covid-19. The reason is the surge in prices.
Restaurant, cafe, hotel, and business owners have increased their rates to make up for the financial losses caused by the health crisis. In Bodrum, the price hike is dizzying. You have to spend 48 euros for a kebab or 8 euros for a coffee, reports 7sur7. A quick dip in a hotel pool costs 70 euros.
These enormous rates do not surprise the mayor of the city. For Mr. Aras, it is quite reasonable for these companies to raise their rates to avoid bankruptcy in these times of health crisis. According to him, it is up to the city to get tourists to spend a lot of money. Are Moroccan tourists and other nationalities ready to face huge expenses, if only for a few days of vacation in Turkey?
