Tunisian Women Arrested at Marrakech Airport with 6.5 Kilos of Cannabis

Four Tunisian nationals were apprehended on Monday, November 18 morning at the [Menara Airport in Marrakech] by the security services, in possession of a large quantity of cannabis resin.
More than 6.5 kilos of drugs in the form of tablets were seized hidden in the personal belts of the four Tunisian women who were accompanied by a 5-year-old child.
According to a press release from the [General Directorate of National Security], the four women, aged 19 to 45, were about to board a flight to the Tunisian capital.
Pending the results of the judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, they have been placed in custody.
