Transavia Expands Summer Routes: Lyon to Morocco Flights Starting at €39

The low-cost airline Transavia includes Morocco in its flight program this summer. It will serve three Moroccan cities from its base at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport.

Transavia will connect Lyon to 28 destinations, including two new ones this summer. It plans to serve three Moroccan cities. Thus, the company will operate up to 2 weekly flights (Wednesdays and Saturdays) to Agadir, starting at €39 TTC one-way. It will connect Lyon to Marrakech with 5 weekly flights (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays), starting at €50 TTC one-way. The planes of the subsidiary specialized in low-cost flights of the Air France group will also take off to Oujda twice a week this summer. The ticket is set at a starting price of €50 TTC one-way.

"We are very happy to always offer more travel opportunities to our customers in the Lyon basin who will be able to reach no less than 28 destinations this summer. We are very attached to our Lyon base and our partner at Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport. We are also celebrating this year the 10th anniversary of our services to Oujda, Marrakech, Seville and Tunis," said Nicolas Hénin, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing at Transavia France, in a press release.

For his part, Pierre Grosmaire, Commercial and Marketing Director of Lyon Airport - VINCI Airports, says he is pleased to "support the dynamism of Transavia which has regained its 2019 passenger traffic level at Lyon airport in 2022." And to add: "The continued growth of its offer of destinations proposed to travelers in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, its base composed of 4 aircraft and the proposal of Mona Biometric, a biometric travel companion, for its flights to Lisbon and Porto, make it in particular a partner of choice for VINCI Airports in Lyon."
