Transavia to Launch New Nantes-Essaouira Route in Summer 2025

The Dutch low-cost airline Transavia will launch a new route between France and Morocco as part of its summer 2025 program.
Nantes-Essaouira. This is one of the four new air routes that Transavia will launch next summer. This new route will be inaugurated on July 11, 2025. The low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group will operate one flight per week every Friday, starting at €48 TTC one-way. Other novelties: 1 flight per week between Lyon and Paphos every Saturday, starting at €39 TTC one-way from July 12, 2025; 1 flight per week between Lyon and Bastia every Saturday, starting at €34 TTC one-way from April 19, 2025 and 1 flight per week between Lyon and Cairo (extension) every Sunday starting at €75 TTC.
"We are delighted to open sales for the summer 2025 season, which marks the continuation of the development of our offer from our bases. With an ambitious program, we are committed to proposing new travel opportunities to more confidential destinations like Belgrade and Tbilisi. Similarly, in the regions, new direct international links such as Lyon - Paphos, Nantes - Essaouira and Marseille - Cairo demonstrate our desire to expand our network to meet the demand of our customers," said Nicolas Hénin, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing for Transavia France. Flights for the summer season (March 30 to October 25) have been on sale since October 1, reports Air Journal.
The airline has also decided to extend the link between Bordeaux and Marrakech, with: 4 flights per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays). Prices start at €37 TTC one-way.
