Transavia France Expands Winter Routes, Resumes Flights to Marrakech

The airline Transavia France has decided to resume the Rennes-Marrakech route as part of its winter flight program.
Transavia France has launched its 2024/2025 winter flight program, which is 18% larger than last winter, with six new international routes, reports Air Journal. In Africa, it will operate flights to the island of Sal in Cape Verde from Lyon and Marseille - a first - to Dakar from Nice and Lille, and to Dubai from Toulouse. The low-cost subsidiary of Air France will also fly to Kittilä in Finnish Lapland. In the Maghreb, the company will extend the Strasbourg-Algiers route. It has also decided to resume the Rennes-Marrakech route with 2 flights per week (Thursdays and Sundays), starting at €43 TTC one-way.
"These new routes respond to a strong travel demand from our customers who want to discover new horizons. We are committed to continuing our regional development by offering direct international connections from cities like Lyon, Marseille, Lille, Nice, or Toulouse. We are also very pleased to serve Dakar from no less than 7 French cities this winter," said Nicolas Hénin, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing at Transavia France.
