Volotea Expands Routes from Lyon: New Flights to Morocco, Norway, Italy, and Greece

The Volotea airline plans to launch four new air routes from Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport to Morocco, Norway, southern Italy and Greece, as part of its new flight offering.
Four new air routes starting in 2024 at 29 euros per one-way ticket (promotional price). Travelers will have to pay 58 euros for the round trip, reports Actu.fr. Volotea will offer flights to Marrakech from Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport. These flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday. A total of 14,000 seats will be available. The company will serve Oslo, twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, with 27,000 seats available. Flights to Naples every Thursday and Sunday to discover the second largest city center listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site will also be launched. In total, 22,000 seats will be available. Finally, Volotea will offer a weekly flight to Rhodes (Greece) on Saturdays, with 11,000 seats available.
A few days earlier, the second airline at Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport, behind EasyJet and ahead of Transavia in terms of destinations and seats, announced the launch of new flights to Hamburg and Berlin starting October 10 and 12, 2023. It also plans to strengthen its fleet with a third additional Airbus A320 aircraft based in the capital of the Gauls.
