Transavia Expands Mediterranean Routes, Doubles Flights to Morocco for Summer Season

The airline Transavia has decided to strengthen its offer of flights to Morocco this summer. It has announced 31 new routes for the summer season across its entire network.
In addition to the new seasonal routes from Paris-Orly to Bodrum and Ankara in Turkey, Larnaca in Cyprus and Lamezia Terme in Italy, as well as from Montpellier and Nantes to Split in Croatia, the Air France subsidiary specializing in low-cost flights will operate 100 routes to 32 countries from Orly (and nearly 200 across its entire network) this summer.
As in previous summer seasons, Transavia intends to strengthen its offer to the Mediterranean basin. It therefore plans to "double its flight capacity to Spain compared to summer 2019, with other countries also experiencing strong growth such as Portugal (+63% in seats compared to summer 2021), Greece (+60% compared to summer 2021), Morocco (+37% compared to summer 2019)," reports Air Journal.
"[...] Like our 100 destinations from Orly, we are committed to always offering more affordable travel opportunities. With the improvement in the health situation and dynamic booking trends since late January, we are seeing strong enthusiasm from our customers who are eager to go on vacation and reconnect with family and friends," said Nicolas Hénin, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing for Transavia France, in a press release.
