Transavia Boosts Morocco Flights as Country Reopens Airspace

The airline Transavia plans to schedule additional flights to Morocco as part of the reopening of Moroccan airspace.
In addition to the 10 destinations included in its program from its bases in Paris-Orly, Nantes-Atlantique, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry and Montpellier-Méditerranée, Transavia plans to schedule additional flights to Morocco. "We are very happy with the resumption of flights to Morocco. More than 130 additional flights have already been added between February 07 and 17," announces Nicolas Hénin, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing for Transavia France. We were able to share with our ONMT partners our very high objectives for Morocco this summer, with strong growth in seats. We are in the starting blocks to boost the long-awaited recovery of this historic and key destination for our company."
The company is increasing its offer of flights to Morocco by 40% compared to 2019, which will make the kingdom its second largest market. Flights will thus be operated from Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Montpellier and Bastia to the kingdom for a total of 20 routes. Initially scheduled for May 1, the resumption of flights between Lyon and Casablanca has been brought forward to February 12. The openings of the Fès and Oujda routes, initially planned for the end of last year, have been rescheduled for May 3.
Transavia invites travelers to inquire about the entry and exit conditions of the Moroccan and French territories before booking any tickets.
