Tragic E-Scooter Accident Claims Life of Young Moroccan Man in Belgian Town

A 22-year-old man of Moroccan origin died from his injuries after a serious fall from an electric scooter that occurred on Sunday in Tamise, East Flanders.
The accident occurred on Sunday evening on the Franck Van Dijckelaan. For reasons yet to be determined, the young man suffered a heavy fall while riding alone, with no other vehicle involved.
Seriously injured in the head, he had been transported in critical condition to the intensive care unit of the hospital, where he ultimately passed away on Wednesday.
The news of his death was confirmed on Thursday by the Moroccan community of the local mosque Ar-Rahim.
