Tragic Forest Collision: Moroccan Children Critically Injured in Fontainebleau Crash

Two Moroccan children were seriously injured in a violent traffic accident that occurred in the Fontainebleau forest in Seine-et-Marne.
Serious accident last Thursday just after 9 a.m. in the Fontainebleau forest, at the Touring Club crossroads, between the D 301 and the D 409. The accident involved two vehicles: a Nissan Qashqai traveling on the D 409 and a Ford Kuga registered in Morocco and traveling on the D 301 towards the Gorges de Franchard. The driver of the Nissan, a 53-year-old man, escaped with a minor injury. As for the occupants of the Ford, two - the parents - escaped with minor bruises, but the other two - a 13-year-old teenager and a one-and-a-half-year-old boy - were not so lucky.
These two children were seriously injured. Fourteen firefighters and six vehicles from the SDIS of Seine-et-Marne intervened after this accident, disrupting road traffic from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Samur transported the two children to the Fontainebleau hospital. Fortunately, their lives are no longer in danger.
The Fontainebleau police station is conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident and establish responsibility. No driver tested positive for alcohol or drugs. According to the first elements, the driver of the Ford would not have respected the stop sign, reports Le Parisien.
