Fatal Collision on National Road 16: French-Moroccan Woman Killed, 4 Spanish Nationals Injured

A serious traffic accident occurred this Wednesday evening on the national road 16, on the axis connecting Arekmane to Barkanyene. The report states that one person died, a French Moroccan woman, and five were injured.
The collision involved two vehicles, a Dacia and a Golf. According to the initial elements, the accident caused varying degrees of injury to five people. Among them are four Spanish nationals.
The deceased victim is a 52-year-old woman, of French nationality and originally from Oujda. Her death occurred immediately at the scene of the accident, before the arrival of emergency services, according to the local site Nadorcity.
The injured were taken care of and transported to the El Hassani hospital in Nador by an ambulance dispatched by a local association. The body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue of the same hospital.
The services of the Royal Gendarmerie went to the scene to carry out the usual findings. In accordance with the procedure, a report was drawn up and a thorough investigation was opened to determine the precise causes and circumstances of the accident.
