Tragic Sahara Buggy Accident Claims Three Lives in Morocco, Including Child

While crossing the Sahara in a buggy, a family from Thizy les Bourgs was the victim of a serious accident that cost the lives of the grandparents and their little girl. The Royal Gendarmerie is conducting an investigation to shed light on the circumstances of the accident.
Vacations that turn into a tragedy. A father working in the automotive industry, used to making trips to the Sahara, this time left with his partner, his father Bernard and his partner Pascale as well as his daughter, Luna in this Moroccan region. If the previous trips remain pleasant moments, this one is the worst.
While they were crossing a bridge on May 4 near Taznakht in the Wilaya of Ouarzazate, Morocco, their vehicle would have hit a rock before overturning and ending up at the bottom, reports the newspaper Le Progrès. The accident report shows three deaths, Bernard, Pascale and their little girl, Luna.
While waiting for the repatriation of the victims’ bodies to France, they were transferred to the morgue of the nearest hospital. The Royal Gendarmerie is investigating the circumstances of the accident. The surviving couple should return to France alone on Wednesday, May 11.
