While a 58-year-old mother was baking a cake with her 10-year-old son on Sunday, November 10 at their home in the La Métare neighborhood in Saint-Etienne, she died strangled by a multi-cooker robot.
According to the account of the facts, the fifty-year-old and her son were making a cake last Sunday when the fatal domestic accident occurred. Indeed, the scarf the woman was wearing around her neck got caught in a multi-cooker robot, which caused her death.
Panicked, her son called the firefighters and the Samu team. But they failed to revive her. The rescuers had also advised the teenager to cut the power and cut the scarf the mother was wearing. This attempt to revive her also failed.
