Tragic Journey: 7-Year-Old Moroccan Girl Dies in French Highway Crash En Route to Morocco

While on their way to Morocco, a family of Moroccans residing in the Netherlands loses one of its members - a 7-year-old girl - in a serious road accident in France.
A return to Morocco that turns into a nightmare. An accident occurred on Saturday, July 12, around 7:15 am, on the A10 motorway, near the French village of Le Bardon, about 150 kilometers south of Paris, reports La République du Centre. Only one vehicle was involved. "The driver lost control of the steering wheel during an overtaking maneuver on the motorway," explains an official from a mosque in The Hague. Information confirmed by Emmanuelle Bochenek-Puren, prosecutor of the Republic of Orléans.
A mother and her three children were on board this car, which ended up on its roof. The report states one fatality - a 7-year-old girl - and two seriously injured, including the mother. Death confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which indicates that it is providing consular assistance to the family. No less than 17 firefighters, as well as the emergency medical services and the gendarmerie, were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims.
"Alcohol and drug tests are negative on the driver, who would be one of the sons," says the prosecutor. An investigation is underway to determine the precise circumstances of the accident.
