Tragic Gas Explosion in Salé Claims Life of Deputy Mayor’s Daughter

The fourth deputy mayor of Salé lost his daughter in a domestic accident. The young woman died in the explosion of a gas cylinder at her home.
According to several media sources, the gas cylinder exploded at the home of Mohamed Nejjar, the elected official of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), resulting in the death of his daughter.
In the fire, the councilor’s wife and the maid were also injured. They were taken to the military hospital in Rabat to receive the necessary care.
After the explosion, the police were quickly mobilized, report the same sources. For now, the local authorities have not communicated on the incident, nor on the reasons that caused the explosion of the gas cylinder.
