Top Moroccan Security Officials Volunteer for Chinese COVID-19 Vaccine Trial

Morocco has started clinical trials of the Chinese vaccine against Covid-19. Among the very first volunteers, the bosses of the DGSN, the Royal Gendarmerie, the DGST and the DGED.
These tests are part of phase III of the clinical trials of the Sinopharm laboratory. No less than 600 members of the FAR, the DGSN, the Royal Gendarmerie, the DGST and the DGED have volunteered.
At their head, the highest officials of the National Security of the Kingdom. Abdellatif Hammouchi, head of the Police and Domestic Intelligence Services, Mohamed Haramou, number one of the Royal Gendarmerie and Yassine Mansouri, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Services, have made themselves available to test the Chinese vaccine.
To recall, Morocco has signed two cooperation agreements with the Chinese laboratory "Sinopharm CNBG" (China National Biotec Group Company Limited). The Minister of Health, Khalid Aït Taleb, had announced in August the start of the vaccine trials, which began in early September.
