Top Moroccan Security Chief Oversees Raid Seizing 450kg of Cocaine; Suspect Flees

The head of the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) was present during an operation carried out overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday by the judicial police elements in the apartment of a former police officer in Harhoura, suspected of cocaine trafficking.
It was 1 a.m. when various units of the national police invaded the apartment of a man named Amine, in the presence of Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security.
Around 30 years old, the former policeman had been under surveillance for several weeks, following information about his alleged involvement in an international hard drug trafficking network.
Nearly 450 kilograms of cocaine were seized during the search of the residence, while the suspect managed to escape the clutches of the security services.
