Top 100 Forbes 2026: Morocco the 4th largest economy in the Arab world

Morocco stands out in the 2026 ranking of the 100 most valuable companies in the Middle East and North Africa, with nine companies placed. The kingdom thus ranks fourth in terms of the number of representatives.

This ranking, established by Forbes, is based on market capitalization data as of the end of January 2026. Largely dominated by the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, it highlights the overwhelming weight of the energy sector, driven by the giant Saudi Aramco, although banking services remain the most represented sector.

At the national level, Attijariwafa Bank stands out as the leading capitalization, occupying the 33rd overall position, with a valuation of $17.4 billion. It is followed by the pan-African mining group Managem, 48th with $10.8 billion, and the historical operator Maroc Telecom, which is in the 50th place of this regional ranking.

The port operator Marsa Maroc rises to the 60th rank, outpacing the BCP group, positioned at the 69th place. The construction company SGTM, recently listed on the stock exchange and involved in the construction of the future Grand Stade Hassan II, has secured a solid 75th position.
