Toddler Dies in Tangier House Fire Sparked by Phone Charger

A fire apparently caused by a cell phone charger has just occurred in Tangier. A victim is to be deplored: a child of one and a half years old.
According to Alyaoum24: "a fire broke out on Wednesday in Hay Char Ben Diban in Tangier, resulting in the death of an infant of about 1 and a half years old." The same media specifies that: "According to all likelihood, the cause of this incident is a short circuit caused by a cell phone charger."
The residents of the neighborhood would have noticed a lot of smoke coming out of the window, which prompted them to alert the civil protection elements. They, upon arrival on the scene, were able to control the fire and, as Alyaoum24 points out, "bring out the body of the infant."
An investigation has also been launched to determine the exact causes of the fire as well as the ins and outs of this most tragic affair.
