Toddler Dies After Balcony Fall in Malaga: Tragic Accident Shocks Community

A 2-year-old girl of Moroccan origin fell on Tuesday from the second floor of the building where she lives with her parents in Alhaurín el Grande (Malaga). She finally died on Thursday.
The girl’s parents lost sight of her for a few seconds, the time to go to the kitchen. Noticing her absence, they searched the entire house in vain before realizing that she had managed to access the balcony and had fallen. Immediately, they alerted the emergency services. A few moments later, the health workers and the civil guards arrived on the scene.

The health workers did their best to stabilize the young girl in the ambulance before her transfer by helicopter to the Mother and Child Hospital in Malaga where she was admitted in critical condition due to her multiple injuries. After nearly two days in intensive care, the young girl finally died on Thursday.
