Tilda Swinton to Lead Jury at 18th Marrakech International Film Festival

The Jury of the 18th edition of the Marrakech International Film Festival (FIFM) will be chaired by Scottish actress Tilda Swinton. This major event of the 7th art will be held from November 29 to December 7 in the Kingdom.
Tilda Swinton, an iconoclastic, passionate and multi-awarded actress, succeeds James Gray as President of the Jury of the next edition of the FIFM, the organizers of the event announce in a press release.
"It is an honor and a pleasure for me to participate this year in this exceptional festival that is the Marrakech International Film Festival as President of the Jury," rejoices the Scottish actress.
For her, cinema is a state that knows no borders, and the prospect of joining her colleagues from around the world to discover and celebrate together this work from all continents of the planet is a privilege and a joy.
A prolific actress, Tilda Swinton has over 70 feature films to her credit. In 2008, she received the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Award and the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "Michael Clayton" by Tony Gilroy.
