Texas Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Moroccan Driver Outside Austin

Terry Turner, 65, was arrested for the murder of Adil Dghoughi, a 31-year-old Moroccan, killed south of Austin, Texas, on October 11.
A glimmer of satisfaction for Adil Dghoughi’s family. A few days after the assassination of the 31-year-old Moroccan, the police arrested Terry Turner, 65, suspected of being the perpetrator. The suspect was on the driver’s side of the car, knocked on the window twice and fired a bullet at the car, the victim was hit in the head, summarizes a sworn statement (affidavit).
"I just killed a man," Terry told a 911 dispatcher after the shooting. He started running and I ran after him. He pointed a gun at me and I shot." Contradictory statements to the police. According to the latter, no weapon was found inside Adil’s vehicle.
After the arrest of the suspect, the determination of Adil’s family, who demand that justice be done, has not wavered. "We’re not going to stop," Sarah Todd, the victim’s girlfriend, told BuzzFeed News. We will continue to fight until justice is done for Adil." The family hopes to soon get additional information on the circumstances of his death.
