Marrakech Rocked by Two Fatal Stabbings, Suspects Arrested

The first murder was committed at the slaughterhouses in the city of Marrakech last Tuesday. It all started from a simple misunderstanding between a thirty-year-old and a septuagenarian. After insults and punches, the young man inflicted a knife wound on the old man. Admitted to the emergency department of Mohammed VI Hospital, the latter died. The police arrested the alleged murderer, reports Aujourd’hui du Maroc.

The second murder was recorded in the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali district of the ochre city. As a forty-year-old was getting out of a taxi, he was hit by a moped driven by a young man. An altercation broke out between the two individuals. Good Samaritans intervened to calm the spirits. Once home, the victim felt dizzy. He had to be admitted to the hospital. Treated, he was allowed to return home. But the forty-year-old died two days later. The elements of the 6th police district arrested the alleged perpetrator of the murder.
