Témara City Council Sparks Outrage with Strict Dress Code Ban on Shorts

The municipal council of Témara has set requirements regarding dress code.
Women on the right, men on the left and no shorts, no pants... This is what the municipal council of the population requires. This new dress code regulation is causing a lot of controversy. Especially since it is perceived as close to the Daesh ideology. On the web, Internet users express their outrage.
Another controversy for the council. Last May, the PJD mayor of Temara, Moh Rejdali, had decided to name the streets after Salafist sheikhs. This decision had provoked reactions, particularly from Mohammed El Ghalloussi, president of the Moroccan Association for the Protection of Public Funds and other members of civil society.
