Teen Dies After Bull Attack During Spanish Town Festival

A young man of Moroccan origin residing in Segorbe died on Saturday after being attacked at night on Friday by a bull during the festivities in the town of Soneja.
The incident occurred on Friday around midnight, when the bull, belonging to the Dani Machancoses ranch in Picassent, attacked a group of young people in the street La Peña in the town of Alto Palancia, violently hitting the 18-year-old young man.
The young man was rushed to the Sagunto hospital and later to a Valencia hospital due to his serious condition. With several broken ribs and a damaged lung, he did not survive. The mayor of the town of Soneja has declared three days of mourning starting this Sunday.
