Tanker Truck Plunges from Bridge in Morocco, Killing Driver and Injuring Assistant

A terrible accident occurred on Tuesday, April 21, on national road number 1, connecting Mohammedia to Ain Harrouda. A heavy vehicle fell from a bridge, resulting in one fatality.
The driver of a tanker truck, having lost control of his vehicle, first grazed the safety barrier of the bridge, before falling into the void. The man did not survive the accident. His assistant, on the other hand, was seriously injured.
According to the Akhbarona website, which does not specify the causes of the accident, road traffic on the national road was severely disrupted before the arrival of the civil protection services.
An investigation was opened by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie. As for the remains of the deceased, they were transferred to the morgue of the Moulay Abdellah hospital in Mohammedia.
