Tanker Truck Crashes into Gas Station Office, No Injuries Reported

An accident occurred on Tuesday, August 12 in the Hay Mohammadi district, at a service station. The incident, which occurred under strange conditions, fortunately did not cause any casualties.
More fear than harm. The accident occurred when the driver of the semi-trailer tanker lost control of his vehicle, apparently due to faulty brakes. The empty tanker truck ended its course in the manager’s office of the service station.
While no casualties were reported, material damage was recorded, including the fall of a fuel dispenser which, fortunately, did not catch fire. In addition, the truck driver, who was slightly injured, was taken to the hospital.
Alerted, the units of the national security and civil protection went to the scene to move the vehicle and restore traffic.
