Tangier Police Arrest Man in Attempted Child Luring Case via Facebook

A 36-year-old man was arrested on Saturday evening by the security forces in Tangier. He would be involved in a case of embezzlement and attempted indecent assault on an 11-year-old minor.
The accused had contacted the minor on Facebook. It was in this same way that he fell into the trap of the police. While he was expecting to meet the 11-year-old boy in a public garden in the "Mghogha" area, it was the police who were waiting for him firmly, according to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release. He had in his possession several gifts that he intended to offer to the young boy.
Pending the determination of the ins and outs of this case, the accused was taken into custody.
