Tangier’s Moghogha Industrial Zone to Undergo $1 Million Revitalization Project

The Moghogha industrial zone will be completely rehabilitated. This project, with a total budget of 10 million DH, aims to complete the rehabilitation and equipment of its spaces.
The result of an agreement whose provisions were validated during the ordinary session of the Regional Council of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (CR-TTA), this project plans to complete the rehabilitation work of the industrial zone through the strengthening of the roads within its perimeter. This includes the landscaping of the area, which will mobilize 3.5 million dirhams, as well as horizontal and vertical signage and the installation of public lighting on the roads throughout the site for 6.5 million dirhams.
This project is supported by the Association of the Industrial Zone of Tangier (AZIT) which has committed 500,000 dirhams; the Regional Council of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (CR-TTA) which has mobilized 5 million dirhams. It also benefits from the support of the Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the Prefectures and Provinces of the North (APDN), the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy which contributed 4.5 million dirhams, as well as the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform.
