Tangier Authorities Shut Down 20 Cafes for Illegal Shisha Services

In Tangier, several cafes have been closed due to non-compliance with the legal and organizational regulations in force as part of the inspection controls.
In Tangier, the local authorities proceeded to close about 20 establishments due to the illegal provision of shisha within the framework of the campaign, conducted under the supervision of the Wali of the region, Younes Tazi, to organize commercial activities and ensure their compliance with legal conditions. It was found that some cafes were using their licenses to offer unauthorized services, including shisha, reports Tanja24. In addition to the closure of cafes offering shisha, the local authorities also ordered the closure of other cafes, due to the provision of meals without a license. In other words, these are other offenses related to non-compliance with licenses and sanitary conditions.
Launched several weeks ago, this vast campaign of license monitoring and repression of offenses, which is part of a comprehensive plan aimed at reducing offenses and improving the quality of services offered to citizens, as well as maintaining public order, will continue until all offenses are addressed and all cafes comply with the licenses granted to them, thus ensuring a healthy and secure business environment, according to official sources.
