Tanger Med Summer 2026 Peak Days MRE Travel Guide

MREs passing through Tanger Med this summer are warned. The port has published its forecast traffic schedule for the period through September 2026, with days classified as low, medium, high or very high traffic.

According to Tanger Med Passengers forecasts, arrivals in Morocco will be especially busy in July. The most difficult days are announced for July 19, 25, 26 and 31. August 1st, 2nd and 3rd are also classified as very high traffic.

For departures from Morocco, the most sensitive period is concentrated in August. Black days are expected on August 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29. Several other dates are classified as high traffic, notably August 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 23, 24 and 30.

Confirmed ticket required

Tanger Med also reminds an important rule: access to the port is authorized only to passengers with a confirmed ticket for the scheduled travel date and time.

Travelers are therefore invited to verify their reservation before presenting themselves at the port, especially during red and black days. The objective is to avoid unnecessary queues and arrivals without a valid ticket at the time of departure.
