Switzerland Expands Travel Red List, Adds 15 Countries and Regions

The Swiss are invited to avoid traveling to Belgium, Denmark, Ecuador, Ireland, Iceland, Jamaica, Luxembourg, Morocco, Nepal, the Netherlands, Oman, Portugal, Slovenia, Hungary and the United Kingdom, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) said in a statement on Friday. The Brittany region in France, Liguria in Italy and various Austrian Länder are also on the updated list. Switzerland has, however, removed Kosovo and San Marino from its list.
From Monday, travelers returning from these fifteen new high-risk countries will have to quarantine for 10 days. In the absence of systematic border controls, the Swiss government is counting "on individual responsibility"
